When to convert PDF pages to PNG
Use PDF to PNG when PDF pages need crisp image output for screenshots, UI review, design references, or pages with line art and text. A one-page PDF downloads as one PNG; multi-page PDFs download as a ZIP of PNG page files.
Image output behavior
Pages are rendered in the browser and saved as PNG images. PNG can preserve sharp edges better than JPG, but files are often larger. Use PDF to PNG when clarity matters more than download size, and review the generated images before using them externally.
Privacy and limits
PDF rendering happens locally in the browser without a 100PDF server upload. Very large PDFs can be memory-intensive, and damaged or encrypted files may fail. The tool does not perform OCR, redaction, or direct extraction of original embedded images.
