Local processing model

Supported tools run in the browser using client-side PDF libraries. This reduces exposure because files do not need a 100PDF account or upload workflow.

Password protection

PDF Protect creates a password-protected output file. Keep the password safe because 100PDF cannot recover it for you.

File safety

Do not open unknown PDFs from untrusted sources. A browser tool cannot guarantee that every source file is safe or valid.

Limits

Advanced tools such as OCR, repair, editing, redaction, and Office conversion are not part of the current local-only tool set.
